Arborfest Auction Items
The silent auction is primarily a community-building event. With the goal of fostering community, most of the offerings for the auction are from current (and a few former) parents, students & staff. We also often have a few items from local businesses (usually with a connection to an Arbor family). The auction opens the morning of Arborfest in the Arena, so be ready and have your pencils close by!

Arborfest Auction Mechanics
The Arborfest Auction is a unique event. Here is a rundown of how it works:
Every attendee receives a bid number when they check-in for Arborfest. This number will be used to charge the attendee for any items purchased at Arborfest.
The Arena walls are lined with bidsheets where community members can signup for the items using their bid numbers, names, and bid.
There are two types of items:
- Bid Up: These items are silent auction style items where people try to outbid each other to win the item.
- Slotted: These items are sold at a fixed price for as many slots are available. For example, a dinner event might have slots for 10 people at $25/slot. If you want to attend with your partner you would purchase two slots. Read each item carefully! The slots will be in different units for every item (individuals, families, couples, etc)
The items will be organized on the wall in categories like Vacation Rentals, Community Gatherings, Goods & Services, and Events & Entertainment.
Make a Plan
Use this Auction preview to make a plan- a lot of popular items sell out early in the morning due to the limited number of slots available.
